Wooga Poplar scored 22 points and Eric Dixon added 17 in a critical victory for the Wildcats (15-10, 8-6 Big East). Perkins scored 12 points.
Aaron Scott led four players in double figures with 22 points for the Red Storm (21-4, 12-2) and Kadary Richmond had 17 points and 10 assists.
NO. 3 DUKE 78, CALIFORNIA 57: Cooper Flagg scored 27 points and the host Blue Devils extended their home winning streak to 14 games with a victory over the Golden Bears.
Tyrese Proctor scored 18 points for Duke (21-3, 13-1 Atlantic Coast Conference), which rebounded from Saturday’s loss to Clemson that snapped a 16-game winning streak.
Jeremiah Wilkinson scored 21 points for Cal (12-13, 5-9).
NO. 12 TEXAS TECH 111, ARIZONA STATE 106, 2OT: JT Toppin had a career-high 41 points and 15 rebounds and the host Red Raiders outlasted the Sun Devils in double overtime.
Darrion Williams scored 27 for Texas Tech (19-5, 10-3 Big 12).
Adam Miller’s 22 points led five players in double figures for Arizona State (12-12, 3-10).
NO. 19 MISSISSIPPI 72, SOUTH CAROLINA 68: Malik Dia hit a 3-pointer with just over two minutes remaining that put the visiting Rebels ahead to stay and finished with 18 points in a victory over the Gamecocks.
Mississippi (19-6, 8-4 SEC) squandered a 12-point lead in the second half before Dia led a comeback.
South Carolina (10-14, 0-11) was led by Murray-Boyles’ 20 points.
WOMEN
NO. 7 UCONN 78, ST. JOHN’S 40: Azzi Fudd had 17 of her career-high 34 points in the third quarter as the host Huskies rolled to a win over the Red Storm to extend their Big East regular-season winning streak to 34 games.
Paige Bueckers had 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, four steals and five blocked shots for UConn (23-3, 14-0 Big East).
Lashae Dwyer scored 11 points for St. John’s (13-11, 3-10).
NO. 14 KANSAS STATE 90, CINCINNATI 53: Serena Sundell scored 21 points and dished 10 assists, Taryn Sides also had a double-double and the visiting Wildcats rolled to a win over the Bearcats. Sides had 17 points and a career-high 12 rebounds for Kansas State (23-3, 11-2 Big 12).
Jillian Hayes had 15 points and 15 rebounds for Cincinnati (14-9, 6-7).
NO. 20 OKLAHOMA STATE 83, ARIZONA 64: Micah Gray scored 20 points, Stailee Heard added 17 and the host Cowgirls defeated the Wildcats. Praise Egharevba and Tenin Magassa both added 10 points for Oklahoma State (20-4, 10-3 Big 12). Isis Beh scored 24 points for Arizona (15-11, 6-7).
