Reminders of destruction
A man walks past damaged cars stacked and caked with mud Tuesday in the aftermath of floods in Catarroja in the Valencia region in Spain. The catastrophic flooding that began Oct. 29 left more than 200 dead and others missing in the country’s worst natural disaster in more than six decades. Last weekend, tens of thousands of Spaniards marched in the city of Valencia to demand the resignation of the regional president in charge of the emergency response. On Monday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced an economic relief package for victims of the storms. ALBERTO SAIZ — ASSOCIATED PRESS
