Jeffrey Lydell Woelk, 71, of Longmont, CO, died on January 7, 2025. He was being treated for renal cell carcinoma and was in remission, but a fast-growing lesion developed on his brain which quickly and unexpectedly took his life. He was fighting a good fight, and in love with life.<br><br>Jeff was born on December 3, 1953, to Lucien &amp; Geneva "Neva" Woelk in Topeka, KS. The family moved to Newton, KS and then to a farm in Goessel, KS where he spent his youth tending to farm animals, working in the fields, and enjoying sports. In 1969 the family moved to Eaton, CO where he graduated from Eaton High School. He was briefly married to Vicki Peterson, then to Deena Wolfe in Greeley, CO and in 1993, married the love of his life, Sharyn Beck Isakson Woelk and lived in Boulder and Longmont, CO. Jeff worked in numerous different sales &amp; financial positions including DeBrown Chrysler Plymouth in Greeley, CO and Prudential in Boulder, CO where he enjoyed being a financial advisor. He loved his family, delighted in a good joke, was quick with a smile, enjoyed lending a helping hand and making friends.<br><br>Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sharyn Woelk, sister Laurie Herbst, brother-in-law Michael Nussbaum and many aunts &amp; uncles.<br><br>He is survived by daughters Melissa Redabaugh (Rodney), Charissa Schultz (Barry) &amp; Josie Arnold (Tim), 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sisters Terri Nussbaum &amp; Jolene Woelk, aunts Vinola Banman &amp; Dorothea Schroeder, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.<br><br>An informal Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00 at the Longmont Moose Lodge, 2210 Pratt St, Longmont, CO. Lunch will be served.<br><br>Family and friends are encouraged to bring stories/anecdotes about Jeff to share.
