San Rafael

Tony Bosque passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in San Francisco and raised in San Rafael, he was a proud graduate of Terra Linda High (1975) and UC Berkeley (1981). A lifelong fan of San Francisco, Tony never missed a chance to cheer on the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors, or attend the 1906 Earthquake commemoration at Lotta’s Fountain.

Known for his big heart and sharp wit, from North Beach to the Russian, Tony made everyone feel seen and valued. He will be deeply missed.

Tony is survived by his mother, Barbara; siblings Paula (Jim), Tim, Terry, and Ted (Annie); seven nieces and nephews; and seven grand-nieces and nephews. He was adored by over 40 first cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, and brother Tom.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Isabella’s Church in Terra Linda.
