Unhappy with bi-daily paper

I have subscribed to the TC for over 15 years, and never have I had so many delivery issues. I have called the circulation department until I’m blue in the face, and not a thing has changed. No paper Monday Jan. 6 , two papers on the 7th. No paper the 8th, then two papers on the 9th. What kind of service is that?

To add insult to injury, my paper (when delivered) is in the gutter or next door neighbor’s lawn. I’m 70 years old and have health problems. I have requested my paper be put up my driveway. Why can’t they do that? Not sure if I want your bi-daily paper anymore.

Preferences for a Ward 2 council member

I am a 32-year resident of Ward 2.

My preferences in the qualities of the person selected by the City Council to fill the Ward 2 vacancy include at least 10 years of residency in Longmont; an understanding that many in Ward 2 are tired of the densification zeal of the outgoing member; an appreciation that annexation is not a duty owed to every developer that wants one; and, for the sake of expedient meetings, being known not to be long winded when given a microphone.
