Resident of San Jose
Senovio Garza (Sam) born 1932, sadly left this world in his sleep at Kaiser hospital during the early hours on Feb. 13th at 0225. He is preceded by his siblings, Angelica, Rogelio, Alonzo, and Amelia.
Senovio is irreplaceable in the hearts of his wife Rosalie, son Michael, daughter Michelle, daughter in law Juanita, grandchildren Michelle, Gabriella, Michael, Christian and great grandchildren Jaylani and Jordan.
After spending his formative years in Del Rio Texas, Senovio proudly served his country in the Korean war. At the end of his service in the army Senovio settled in San Jose, married and began his 40 year career as aTVrepairman.
He deftly applied an income property investment strategy becoming an owner of several apartments in San Jose and Gilroy. As well as a shopping center in Colorado Springs. Senovio’s zest for travel led him and his wife to travel to countries in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South America, Central America and Asia.
A fervent Warrior fan, and 22 year season ticket holder, Senovio faithfully and boisterously attended over 800 Warrior home games. His legendary generosity, kindness, and enjoyment of entertaining at “the house” will be remembered by all who knew him.
Services are scheduled for Feb. 25th 5-9 at Lima Family Erickson, with rosary at 7pm. Mass Feb. 26th at 11am at St Martin of Tours, burial to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
