The United States women’s national soccer team will play a friendly match against China PR at Allianz Field in St. Paul on May 31, Minnesota United announced on Monday.

The game will start at 4:30 p.m. and can be viewed on TBS and Max, along with Universo and Peacock in Spanish.

This will be the fourth time the women’s national team will play at the stadium since 2019. The U.S. faced Korea Republic in June of last year, a 3-0 win for the Americans.

“I love these games because they combine some rich women’s soccer history with the present, with both countries going through transitions in preparation for ’27 World Cup qualifying,” U.S. head coach Emma Hayes said in a release by the Loons. “But our process continues and it’s a patient and comprehensive one. It’s up to our coaching staff to give players opportunities – opportunities they have earned – and it’s up to the players to show us they can perform at the highest levels. We are looking forward to seeing the players show their talents against an excellent team in two fantastic soccer venues.”

Bengals place tag on WR Higgins for second time

The Cincinnati Bengals have placed the franchise tag on Tee Higgins for a second time, as the team hopes to work out a long-term deal with the star wide receiver.

If the Bengals can’t reach a contract with the 26-year-old Higgins before July 15, his salary for the 2025 season would be $26.2 million.

Higgins would have been one of the top players to hit free agency. Instead, he is the second player to receive a franchise tag, joining Kansas City guard Trey Smith. Teams have until Tuesday at 4 p.m. EST to tag players.

Higgins was tied for sixth in the league this past season with 10 touchdown catches. He also had 73 receptions for 911 yards and averaged 12.5 yards per catch.
