The votes are in and the brackets are out, and the top 32 teams from Class 4A, 5A and 6A boys and girls basketball will get their chance to play for a state championship starting Tuesday night.

Of the 192 upper-class squads that made the cut, 20 hail from the BoCoPreps area, including nine girls teams and 11 boys teams.

First round matchups are below.

Girls 6A

Records: Monarch — 22-1; Mullen — 11-12

Leading scorers: Monarch — Natalie Guanella, 15.8 ppg; Mullen — Allison Schwertner, 12.2 ppg

Snapshot: The Coyotes have proven themselves elite among 6A’s girls teams and enter the tournament with just one loss at the hands of 12th-seeded Regis Jesuit. They average 59.5 points per game and 34 rebounds per game, making this squad hard to stop.

Broomfield (18) at Pine Creek (15), 6:30 p.m. Tuesday

Records: Broomfield — 18-5; Pine Creek — 14-9

Leading scorers: Broomfield — Olivia Kim, 11.5 ppg; Brynae Stewart — 15.9 ppg

Snapshot: The two squads look similar on paper, with Pine Creek averaging 53.6 ppg and Broomfield scoring 53.1. Both teams rebound the ball well, but Pine Creek holds a slight edge in that category. The title for top Eagle in this matchup may very well boil down to who can take care of the ball best and whose shots are hotter.

Records: Frederick — 12-11; Palmer Ridge — 18-5

Leading scorers: Frederick — Savanna Staff, 11.4 ppg; Palmer Ridge — Natali Volk, 10.6 ppg

Snapshot: The Golden Eagles drew a tough first-round matchup, with Palmer Ridge hailing from a strong hoops region, but Frederick has shown it knows how to score with 52 ppg. While the two teams look fairly similar on paper, the Bears’ regular-season competition will give them a good edge.

Records: Longmont — 10-13; George Washington — 19-4

Leading scorers: Longmont — Savannah Pohl, 13 ppg; George Washington — Mya Cotto, 13.1 ppg

Snapshot: The Trojans popped the bubble to earn the last spot in the 5A state playoffs, but in doing so earned the hardest draw against the classification’s top team. To date, the Trojans have relied on their defense and rebounding (33.5 boards per game) but will have to find ways to score to take down this Patriots team.

Records: Holy Family — 20-3; ERA — 8-15

Leading scorers: Holy Family — Fiona Snashall, 12.0 ppg; ERA — Megan Derby, Jaz Greenwood and Julia DeLorenzo, 6.7 ppg

Snapshot: The Tigers have shown a strong affinity for winning as the ladies boast three high-scorers in Snashall, Essynce Contreraz and Julia Hodell. Their high-paced style of play is enough to discombobulate most teams, save for a few hiccups during the regular season.

Jefferson Academy houses four players that are averaging over 7.5 ppg — Kirkpatrick, Rylin Chichirico, Helen Stegner and Elsa Nygren — and the Titans only have two.

Arrupe Jesuit (22) at Peak to Peak (11), 6 p.m. Tuesday

Records: Peak to Peak — 16-7; Arrupe Jesuit — 17-6

Leading scorers: Peak to Peak — Alexandra Eschmeyer, 18.2 ppg; Arrupe Jesuit — Karen Alvarez, 21.2 ppg

Broomfield (23) at Highlands Ranch (10), Wednesday

Records: Broomfield — 15-8; Highlands Ranch — 16-6

Leading scorers: Broomfield — Joey Cook, 13.1 ppg; Highlands Ranch — Aiden Krusoe

Records: Monarch — 15-8; Valor Christian — 16-7

Leading scorers: Monarch — Evan Trujillo, 14.9 ppg; Valor Christian — Cole Scherer, 15.3 ppg

They averaged nearly 80 points a game compared to the Warriors’ 50, and rebound the ball just as well with 35.3 boards per game to Centaurus’ 21.5. To top it all off, the Golden Eagles share the ball an average of 20.6 times.

Records: Longmont — 16-7; Mountain View — 14-9

Leading scorers: Longmont — Cole Corner, 13.2 ppg; Mountain View — Noa Phillips, 14.3 ppg

Snapshot: The Trojans rebounded beautifully from an early-season skid and have since proven themselves elite within a tough NCAC. With the reintroduction of Corner, who missed the early weeks due to injury, they’ve been able to put together a strong effort in every facet of the game. Their league acumen should serve them well in the postseason.

Northfield (18) at Silver Creek (15), 6 p.m. Wednesday

Records: Silver Creek — 15-8; Northfield — 16-7

Leading scorers: Silver Creek — Zach Schmeeckle, 20.3 ppg; Northfield — Justus Michael and JP Ndong, 15.3 ppg

Snapshot: Much like Longmont, the Raptors have had the privilege of competing in an ultra-tough league to sharpen their skills ahead of the postseason. They excel most in their ball-sharing and ball-taking, and will need both to grit out a tough matchup between two teams that are statistically similar on paper.

Records: Holy Family — 12-11; DSST: Green Valley Ranch — 18-4

Leading scorers: Holy Family — Rocco Bridges, 12.4 ppg; Jovonnie Babineaux, 15.0 ppg

Snapshot: The Tigers enter the postseason after suffering a significant slump, having lost eight of their last 10 games. The Raptors, on the other hand, haven’t lost more than one game at a time through the few setbacks they’ve had. The Tigers rebound, assist and steal the ball well, and will need to be on their A-game with all three if they hope to take out the Raptors.

Peak to Peak (19) at Fort Lupton (14), 7 p.m. Wednesday

Records: Peak to Peak — 13-10; Fort Lupton — 20-3

Snapshot: The Bluedevils hold the edge over the Pumas in most statistical categories, but the one that sticks out the most is their 16.3 steals per game. If the Pumas can take care of the ball, and keep it away from the Bluedevils, they could pull off the first-round upset.

Jefferson Academy (27) at Lutheran (6), 7 p.m. Wednesday

Records: Jefferson Academy — 11-12; Lutheran — 15-8

Leading scorers: Jefferson Academy — Caleb Nolan, 14.1 ppg; Lutheran — Braydon Jacob,

Snapshot: The Jaguars will have a tough game ahead of them, with the Lions averaging nearly 10 more points per game. While both squads excel on the glass, the Jags may need to rely on their thievery a bit more than normal if they hope to pull off the upset.
