Greenbrae

Cary W. Martin passed peacefully in Greenbrae on February 3,2025 at the age of 89. Cary was previously widowed from his wife of 42 years, Maria Martin, and survived his oldest son, Chris. He is survived by his second wife of almost 22 years, Marjorie Hunt-Heinlein, his two sons, Bill and Blake, 2 daughters-in-law, Lori Martin married to Bill and JoAnn Wolfe married to Blake, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Cary graduated from West Point, served in the U.S. Army in the Armor Branch and in Military Intelligence for 12 years and retired at rank of Major. Cary and his family settled in San Rafael. Cary’s second career over 20 year was with the federal government as an engineer.
