After a valiant year-long struggle with Peritoneal Carcinomatosis, Paula (Rose) Woods passed away on July 26, 2024, in Santa Cruz, CA surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 4, 1956, in Moreno Valley, CA, she was a beacon of positivity and a dynamic force throughout her life.

Paula enjoyed a fulfilling 32-year career in real estate in Santa Cruz County, culminating in the co-founding of Indigo Beach Properties, Inc. with her husband, where she worked passionately for the last 16 years. Her educational journey began at Moreno Valley Elementary, continued at Loma Linda Academy, and concluded at Pacific Union College where she met the love of her life, Neal in 1977. She would have celebrated her 46th Wedding Anniversary August 27, 2024.

Beyond her professional achievements, Paula was known for her reading, appreciation of fine, healthy food, entertaining at home and adventures traveling in her beloved Airstream Trailer, Alumitopia. These hobbies reflected her zest for life and learning.

Paula's family was central to her life. She is survived by her devoted husband and wingman of 46 years, Neal, her children, Chay Woods, Sam Woods, Annie Woods and her two grandchildren, Mac and Talulah. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverely Rose.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Everett Family Farm in Soquel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, honoring Paula's compassionate spirit.
