Arcata City Council
When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m., special meeting Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
Where: City Hall Council Chamber: 736 F St., Arcata
• During the special meeting, the council will meet in closed session for labor negotiations.
• During the special meeting, the council will interview four candidates for open seats on the planning commission. Later, during the regular meeting, two members will be appointed.
• During the regular meeting, the council will consider extending an agreement with Humboldt Waste Management Authority for receiving and processing green waste.
• The council will hold a public hearing to consider approving and declaring the intent to continue collecting assessments of existing assessment districts.

Eureka City Council
When: First and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m., closed session at 5 p.m.
Where: Eureka City Council chambers: 531 K St., Eureka
• The council will meet in closed session to discuss existing litigation.
• The council will receive a presentation on the bike plan update.
• The council will hold a public hearing on the Tirsbeck surplus property.
• The council will consider approving sending a letter in support of a bill on seismic compliance of hospitals.
• The council will discuss the Jacobs campus and potential paths to pursue.

Ferndale City Council
When: Third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m., closed session at 5 p.m.
Where: Ferndale City Hall: 834 Main St, Ferndale
• During closed session, the council will meet for property negotiations about the Ferndale Community Center.
• The council will receive a presentation on the Salt River project.
• The council will consider a partial closure of state Route 211 for the Sacred Liturgy Conference Procession.

Fortuna City Council
When: First and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m.
Where: City Hall council chambers: 621 11th St., Fortuna
• The council will consider an agreement with a contractor to help with SB1183.
• The council will consider formally opposing the Taxpayer Protection and Government Accountability Act.

Humboldt County Association of Governments
When: Third Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m.
Where: 611 I St., Eureka
• The board will receive a presentation on perceptions of trail safety.
• The board will hear about Redwood Region RISE and consider whether HCAOG would like to enter into an agreement to participate and have a voting member block.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors
When: Every Tuesday except for the fifth Tuesday of a month at 9 a.m.
Where: Supervisors chambers: 825 Fifth St., Eureka
• The March 19 meeting is canceled with members attending the Pacific Offshore Wind Conference.
McKinleyville Municipal Advisory Committee’s Subcommittee for Incorporation Exploration
When: Third Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m.

Rio Dell City Council

• The council will discuss an ordinance establishing a cannabis cultivation tax guarantee.
