Woodland Police made an arrest after a reported residential burglary occurred on Sunday evening, according to a release from the department.
On Sunday, officers responded to a report of a nighttime residential burglary in the 600 block of Cleveland Street. At the time, an 18-year-old female was asleep inside the residence and unaware of the intruder. The homeowner provided surveillance footage of the suspect, which was circulated among officers.
A patrol officer from another shift identified the suspect as 36-year-old Ronnie Roman of Sacramento. On Monday morning, patrol officers, a detective, and a member of the Homeless Outreach Street Team searched for Roman. He was located near the intersection of College Street and Lincoln Avenue.
Roman was arrested without incident and possessed items stolen from the residence in question and was booked into Yolo County Jail for residential burglary.
