With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marilee Erwin Dunn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left us peacefully on April 16, 2025, surrounded by love. Born in 1939 in San Francisco, California, Marilee was a woman of remarkable kindness, intelligence, humor, creativity and a welcoming heart to everyone she met.

Marilee’s life was a testament to generosity and passion.

She dedicated herself to her family, friends and her community.

She was a devoted mother to Mike and David, instilling her love for learning and community with both her children. Her grandchildren, Ryan and Will, adored their “Drawdry” who never missed an opportunity to engage and inspire them with her wit, creativity, and love.

Marilee is survived by her husband and life-long partner Frank. They met at a Wedding in their hometown of Oakdale, CA and were happily married for over 64 years.

Marilee was also very active in the community. She was a tutor for the local literacy program, a charter member of the League of Women Voters, and along with her husband, a life-long dedicated participant in the Lion’s Club at the local, district, and international levels.

A celebration of Marilee’s life will be held on May 8, 2025, at 1 p.m., at the Woodland Lion's Banquet Hall, where we will gather to share stories, laughter, and love in her memory.

Her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten
