College football: UAB players say their entire roster has signed up for Athletes.org, making them the first D-I football team to publicly join the players’ association. Coach Trent Dilfer, a former longtime NFL QB, introduced the players to Athletes.org.

NFL: Three-time Pro Bowl RB Ezekiel Elliott will rejoin the Cowboys on a one-year deal that has a maximum value of $3 million, ESPN reported. Elliott, 28, spent the first seven years of his career with the Cowboys before playing for the Patriots last season.
