Sister Ann Therese Lynch, PBVM, a Sister of the Presentation (San Francisco) for seventy-five years died at Alma Via Retirement Center, February 4, 2025. A native San Franciscan, she was born Noreen Lynch and was the daughter of Vincent and Ann Lynch. She was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine. Sister Ann Therese leaves her loving Sisters and cousins Darlene Purcell, Bob and Sue Corsiglia, Gary and Bridget Corsiglia and their families.

Sister Ann Therese spent the first twenty years of her ministry life as an elementary school teacher and principal at schools in San Francisco, Montebello, San Jose, Campbell, and Morgan Hill. In 1976, she began ministry in leadership roles for the Sisters of the Presentation, including serving as President of the Congregation from 2000 to 2004, during which time she oversaw the renovation of the Presentation Motherhouse. During a break in leadership roles, Sister Ann Therese served as director of parish and religious education programs at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Hunters Point for three years. After serving as President, she taught ESL classes to immigrant women at the Learning and Loving Center in Morgan Hill.

Most recently, Sister Ann Therese has been engaged in the ministry of prayer.

AFuneral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on February 27, at Saint Andrew’s Church, 1571 Southgate Avenue, Daly City. Followed by burial of cremains at Holy Cross Cemetery.
