A resident of Mountain View

Ivanica passed away peacefully after a long chronic illness, surrounded by her loving family. Ivanica was born in Olib, Croatia and immigrated to the US in the 1950s.

She visited her beloved birthplace of Olib with her family over the course of many summers. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and making traditional lace as is the custom in her native Croatia. She held strong in her Catholic faith, with her prayer book and rosary always at her side. She was especially devoted to St. Anthony of Padua.

Ivanica was the beloved wife of Mario Mosunic, loving mother of John and Matija, and caring nana and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her parents Marija and Jakov, brothers and sisters, and niece and nephews. She is survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law Sam and Visnja Cukar, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with Rosary at 4 p.m. Sun. Jan. 26th at Lima & Campagna Sunnyvale Mortuary, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave.,S.V. Funeral Mass Mon. Jan 27th at 11:30 at St. Joseph Church, 582 Hope St., Mtn. View. Graveside to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
