


Auction/dinner
• The 33rd annual “Bid for Life!” auction/dinner will be held on June 17 at Vintage House Banquet Hall, 31816 Utica Road, Fraser. Doors open at 5:30 pm, family style dinner served at 7:00 pm. Hawaiian theme with Hawaiian dress encouraged but not required. Live and silent auctions, 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $55 per person or $400 for a table of 8. Barn sale
• Friends of the Octagon House holding Annual Barn Sale from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. June 21 and 22 at the Octagon House, 57500 Van Dyke, Washington Township. Admission to the Barn Sale is free. Donations for the Barn Sale will be accepted from 2-7 p.m. June 18 and 19. Clothing will not be accepted. Proceeds will be used for restoration and maintenance of the Loren Andrus Octagon House and the grounds. The Octagon House will also be open for self-guided tours from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Admission is $7.00, children under 4 and members are free. Bottle and can drive
• Woman’s Life Chapter 855 conducts a continuous bottle and can drive with drop off locations in Richmond and Memphis to help those in the community in need. They also offer a pick up service for larger donations. For more information, call 586-318-4053.

Chorus seeks singers
• St. Clair Shores Community Chorus seeking singers in the community interested in joining our Fall 2025 session for holiday performances. First session is at 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, 22360 13 Mile Road, St Clair Shores and practices are at 7:30 p.m. Mondays thereafter. • 43rd annual American Polish Festival and Craft Show will take place from 4-11 p.m. June 20; 10 a.m.-11 p.m. June 21 and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. June 22 on the grounds of the American Polish Club, 33204 Maple Lane, Sterling Heights. Festival includes a diverse mix of excellent Polish bands, local music, folk dancers, arts and crafts, the annual pierogi eating contest, and Polish/American Cuisine. Admission is $5 per person with 17 and under being free. Free parking and free shuttles available to the public at the Career Prep Center and Sterling Heights High School.
Garden Walk
• 2025 Romeo Garden Walk 11 a.m.-4 p.m. June 28. Check in is at 290 North Main Street where addresses of gardens will be provided. Cost is $30 per person and tickets can be purchased online at greenspaceromeo.org/gardens or in person at Town Hall Antiques, MJC Marketplace or Old World Nouveau. Proceeds benefit the Romeo and Juliet Garden Club and The Romeo Historical Society.
