The Rancho Cotate boys golf team topped Ukiah by a slim margin Friday at Ukiah Valley Golf Course, winning 202-205.

Lucca Keane was a co-medalist for the Cougars with a 37, followed by Teddy Beacom (38), Nate Soiland (39), Jamison Rhodes (42), Mason Water (46), and Liam Griffith (51; not counted).

Ukiah’s Milo Doble also shot a 37 to share medalist honors with Rancho’s Keane. He was followed by Tyson Woodall (39), Jace Schuette (39), Caden Walker (44), Ari Walker (46) and Josh Gradus (47; not counted).

On Thursday, Analy’s boys team defeated Santa Rosa 228-254 at Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.

Analy’s scorers were Ronin Ireland (38; medalist), Cody Guerinoni (43), Austin Bishop (44), Darren Bauman (50) and River Anderson (53).

Santa Rosa’s scorers were Patrick Seau (40), Lee Duffy (51), Luke Roberds (52), Tyler Harris (56) and Owen Fleming (55).

Boys volleyball

American Canyon 3, Ukiah 1: The North Bay League-leading Wolves started out hot and never looked back as they beat Ukiah in four sets on the road Wednesday in Mendocino County: 25-7, 25-18, 19-25, and 25-10.

Patrick Gamboa earned 16 kills and seven digs to lead AmCan (15-6, 7-0), while Cylar Echevarria added seven kills and five aces. Jacob Valenica also earned five aces and 22 assists.

For Ukiah (1-16, 0-7), Caleb Hubley earned five kills and David Critser had four. Javier Guzman Lopez had three aces from the service line.

Cardinal Newman 3, Rancho Cotate 0: The Cardinals (6-10, 4-3) picked up their fourth win in league play with Tuesday’s road sweep of the Cougars (4-14, 1-6) in Rohnert Park: 25-17, 25-21 and 25-22.

Owen Snyder led the way for Newman with 12 kills and five aces. Carter Logan totaled 13 assists and four kills, while Ryan Gibson added five kills and five blocks.

Other results over the week: Windsor 3, Rancho Cotate 2; Sonoma Valley 3, Cardinal Newman 0; Analy 3, Ukiah 0.
