At the AT&T Pebble BeachPro-Am and the PURE Insurance Championship, the magic behind the scenescomes from the thousands of dedicated volunteers who make every moment on and off the golf course possible. They are the first to arrive, the last to leave, and the reason each tournament runswith such care and precision.

From ADA shuttles to public safety, standard bearers to tournament informationambassadors, volunteers fill more than 100 different roles on31committees, each one essential to the tournament experience.

As MontereyPeninsula Foundation Chairman ClintEastwood says, “They’re the lifeblood of the organization.”

The tournamentsare more than just two weeks of golf. Volunteers return year after year—many traveling long distances, some asfar as Japan—to be part ofsomething bigger.Infact,85% of AT&T Pebble BeachPro-Am volunteers have served for seven years or more, and over 60 members of the legendary 40 Year Club continue to inspire new generations of volunteers.
