LUBBOCK, Texas>> Milos Uzan scored a career-high 22 points and No. 4 Houston clinched at least a share of the Big 12 regular-season title with a 69-61 victory over 10th-ranked Texas Tech on Monday night.

J’Wan Roberts had 16 points and seven rebounds as the Cougars (24-4, 16-1 Big 12) avenged their only conference loss.

No. 15 Michigan 49, Nebraska 46>> Roddy Gayle Jr. scored 12 points and Tre Donaldson made two free throws with four seconds left in Lincoln, Neb., as Michigan scored its fewest points in a victory in 17 years.

It marked the third time in 11 years that a team won a Big Ten game with less than 50 points.

Michigan (21-6, 13-3) shot a season-low 30%, and Nebraska shot 26%.

Texas celebrates first No. 1 ranking in 21 years with victory

ATHENS, Ga.>> Texas, buoyed by its first No. 1 ranking in 21 years, leaned on its defense to overcome a sluggish start and beat Georgia 57-26.

Taylor Jones had 17 points and 16 rebounds as Texas (27-2, 13-1 SEC) extended its winning streak to 11 games.

Earlier Monday, Texas moved to No. 1 in The AP Top 25 for the first time since Feb. 16, 2004.

No. 17 Baylor 79, No. 14 Kansas State 62>> Aaronette Vonleh had a season-high 24 points and 12 rebounds for her third double-double of the season, and Baylor claimed its ninth straight win.
