DETROIT >> The Detroit Pistons announced Friday morning that All-Star guard Cade Cunningham will be listed as day-to-day due to a left calf contusion.

He sustained the injury during the Pistons’ 123-117 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on March 21.

The team announced that recent imaging confirmed Cunningham’s injury, resulting in his third consecutive absence against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. He will continue his rehabilitation program with the team’s athletic training staff.

Cunningham has appeared in 66 games this season, averaging 35.7 points, 9.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds.

He has led the Pistons to the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 41-32 record.
