The Terra Linda High boys capped off the season with a pair of top-five relay finishes at the State Meet in Clovis on Saturday.

Coach Tim Baker called this team the strongest he’d ever had at TL and the Trojans backed that up with an eighth-place finish — the highest for any TL team during Baker’s tenure.

Ben Butler led the way with a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard free in 1 minute, 36.34 seconds and a seventh-place finish in the 100 free (44.75).

The quartet of Butler, Nicholas Arinduque, Jackson Wright, and Jack Middleton swam both relays for TL, taking fourth in the 200 free (1:22.64) and fifth in the 200 medley (1:31.31). Both relay teams set MCAL records according to Baker.
