Calling all truck owners, operators, heavy equipment owners, and more: Bring your vehicle to Read, Rumble, and Rev to share your industry with the community. Kids will be thrilled to learn about, feel, and experience a wide variety of trucks, equipment and cars.
The Read, Rumble, and Rev event will take place Saturday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Woodland Public Library. The event will be free to exhibit, vehicle attendants will have lunch and facilities provided inside the Library, and promotional materials appropriate for children, stickers, swag and giveaways are strongly encouraged.
Woodland Public Library’s Read, Rumble, and Rev event (formerly Touch-A-Truck) gives local children and adults a chance to learn about the vehicles and industries in their community. Read, Rumble, and Rev is different than a car show — kids can interact not only with trucks and vehicles but with the folks that drive and operate them. They can hear the sirens, watch the tractor bucket move, and more.
Last year’s most popular exhibitors provided an activity or had staff on hand to describe the inner workings of their machines. At this year’s Read, Rumble, and Rev, your business can win the hearts of Woodlanders while giving them a glimpse into these vehicles and the vital tasks they perform.
According to a press release, these are the types of vehicles needed:
Unique/Rare/Novelty (limos, monster trucks, antique trucks)
Construction (cement and dump trucks, cement rollers, etc.)
Emergency (ambulances, sheriff and police vehicles, fire trucks and equipment, etc.)
Farm Equipment (tractors, plows, etc.)
Commercial (postal, delivery, 18-wheelers, etc.)
Military (all types)
Recreational (4-wheelers, motorcycles, etc.)
The registration deadline to be a Read, Rumble, and Rev exhibitor is April 12. Visit https://tinyurl.com/readrumblerev) to access the registration form.
