The five-person Commission on Aging is appointed by the Woodland City Council to advocate for and advise on senior-related issues. Regular meetings take place on the third Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. at the Woodland Community & Senior Center.
The Woodland Senior Center offers information and services for older adults, including nutrition, recreation, education, transportation, art, health, support groups, and more. Programs focus on healthy aging, social services, and feature plenty of socialization opportunities. The Woodland Senior Center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
