Marilyn Camille Klosek Krause, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, at 81.

Born November 17, 1942, in Rahway, New Jersey, to Claire and Stanley Klosek. Marilyn dedicated her life to caring for others in her profession and family. She worked as a Registered Nurse in Boston and Plymouth, Massachusetts, where her compassion and skill touched countless lives.

Marilyn was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert Krause, and their daughter, Kimberly Camille. Marilyn is survived by her son, John Krause, his wife, Andrea, and her three grandsons—Ryan, Connor, and Andrew—who brought her immense pride and joy.

Marilyn had a zest for life and a generous spirit. She loved sailing, playing golf, and reading a good book. She especially cherished reconnecting with old friends and classmates from Higgins Classical Institute and the Eastern Maine General Hospital School of Nursing, staying in close contact through the years.

Marilyn’s strength, kindness, and steady presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Per her wishes, no services were held at the time of her passing.
