Nancy Ann (Coon) Smith, 93, of Royal Oak, died July 7, 2025.

Born in 1932 to Edward and Helen Coon in Detroit and graduated from Shrine High School in 1950. Taught piano for 70 years and participated with the Royal Oak Musicale, Rackham Choir, Oakland University Chorus, and Royal Oak Art Fair.

Survived by children, Chris Smith (Jennifer), Katie Lorts (Dan), Sally Kane (Tim), Rose Okada, Gordon Smith, Marti Smith (Mark Gastmeyer), and Larry Smith (Becky), as well as grandchildren, Kelli Moore, Wendi Bryant (David), Claire Lorts (Ken Hull), Ted Lorts (Teya), Tiara Kane, Haley Asfar (Milad), Max Smith, Owen Smith, and Keegan Sutherland. Preceded in death by her husband, John Smith. Celebration of Life to be held on a later date.
