Homicides were reported this past week by the Cook County medical examiner’s office in Chicago Heights and South Holland.

In Chicago Heights, Donald Johnson Jr., 25, of the 300 block of West 15th Street, was pronounced dead at 4 p.m. Thursday at that address, according to the medical examiner’s office. He had a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the office.

In South Holland, a homicide was reported Tuesday by the medical examiner in the 15500 block of South Park Avenue.

The unidentified victim had multiple gunshot wounds and the death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Additional information regarding the shooting deaths was not immediately available.
