SANTA CRUZ >> To mark its 13th year serving clients in downtown Santa Cruz and to bid farewell to its annex location, Yoso Wellness will hold an open house and 13th anniversary celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at its flagship spa in downtown Santa Cruz.

“We’ve grown tremendously over the years and this next step allows us to streamline our operations, elevate our flagship space and focus fully on expanding the spa and what we offer our guests,” said Yoso Wellness founder and award-winning esthetician Jennalee Dahlen. “We are deeply grateful for the community support over the past 13 years and we’re excited to evolve in ways that allow us to better serve our clients now and into the future.”

The spa’s Yoso the Annex location, which was opened on Cooper Street during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide community members with wellness goods to take home, officially closed Sunday to help streamline operations at the Yoso Wellness primary location.

“While it’s never easy to see businesses close, I believe change creates the opportunity for new energy and ideas to take root,” Dahlen said. “This is a transition, not a departure — and I’m proud to remain fully invested in the future of downtown Santa Cruz.”

All community members are invited to the free Saturday celebration, which will feature raffles, light refreshments and exclusive gift bags.
