Resident of Fremont Patricia Sanguinetti passed peacefully on November 28th, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born in San Francisco on September 30th, 1929 to Louis and Florence Gallagher, and was loving sister to siblings Florence, Ed, Bill, Dave, Steve, and Jack. She attended St. Monica’s Elementary and Presentation High in the city.
Patricia married the love of her life John Sanguinetti at St. Monica’s in San Francisco on July 23rd, 1960. They eventually settled in Fremont and were happily married for sixty-one years.
Patricia started her career at Shell Oil before transitioning to a more important role in 1961 as wife and mother. Later in life she worked in the front office at Holy Spirit Church in Fremont.
Patricia was an engaging conversationalist who always showed great interest in those around her. She had an excellent sense of humor which helped her easily bond with others. Patricia was a devoted fan and parent at all family sporting and school events. She was an amazing chef and loved sharing her culinary skills with family and friends.
Patricia dedicated her adult life to husband John and raising her three sons Mark (Melissa), Matt (Tammy), and Jim (Susan).
She was an enthusiastic and influential grandmother to her grandchildren whom she adored: John, Sara, Alison and Gabriella Sanguinetti. She loved spending time with her extended family of Gallaghers and Sanguinettis.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service which will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 12 noon at Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
