NCAR to host eclipse screening on Wednesday
The National Center for Atmospheric Research Mesa Lab in Boulder will hold a free in-person and virtual eclipse documentary screening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at 1850 Table Mesa Drive.
The documentary, called “Gathered in Darkness,” is a 26-minute film that will show, for the first time, the scientific efforts of community scientists who collected data on the sun’s upper atmosphere during the total solar eclipse in April 2024.
After the screening, attendees can hear from lead scientists and get a sneak peek at some of the data. Attendees should pre-register as soon as possible, since the in-person event is expected to sell out, according to a press release. To register, visit eventsquid.com/event.cfm?id=28172.
