The madness isn’t limited to basketball courts this weekend.
Music fans have a maddening array of options all over the metro area, but especially in Hamtramck, where the annual Hamtramck Blowout takes place through Saturday, March 22.
The three-day event features 220 acts playing at 26 venues around the city, ranging from Plant Ant Hall and the Polish Sea League to the Hamtramck Public Library. A wealth of favorites are on the assorted bills, including Amino Acids, Matt Smith, Danny Kroha, Doop and the Inside Outlaws, Body Mechanic, Rose St. Germaine, Emily Rose, the Detroit Party Marching Band and more.
Weekend wristbands are $35 in advance and online, $40 in person, and the first 1,500 sold include admission to Detroit City Football Club’s first home game of the season at 4 p.m. Saturday at Keyworth Stadium.
