It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Robert Tounzen who went to be with the Lord on January 23rd. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an exceptional member of his community.<br><br>Born on July 22, 1943 in Oklahoma and was the 3rd child of Edith Gipson and Hyman Tounzen.<br><br>Robert met the love of his life Janet and they were married for 51 wonderful years. They were blessed with 4 children whom they loved and adored. Robert was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment with his loved ones.<br><br>Robert had a love for his country and served in the Air Force, Marines, and 18 years in the Army for a total of 26 years of service.<br><br>He was known for his kindness and helping others.<br><br>He is survived by his wife Janet Tounzen, his children Debra (Richard) Gonzales, Kari (Warren) Depew, Richard Lee (Cheryl) Hanson, Lori Tounzen, foster daughter Mariana Cortez, brother Don Tounzen and sister Faye Miller, 13 grandchildren: Amanda, Sean, Lindsey, Crystal, Cody, Katlyn, Lexi, Richard, RJ, Kyle, Travis, Jillian &amp; Kaylee, and 9 great-grandchildren. His brother Ron Tounzen passed and is with the Lord. He will be missed dearly by many other family and friends as he was loved by all.<br><br>The funeral service will be held on February 10, 2025 at Memory Garden in Brea, CA at 10:30 am.<div></div><br>
