The Yolo County Public Works Division will be repairing and replacing a damaged guardrail that will include asphalt and pavement legend replacement at the intersection of South River Road and Freeport Bridge, located about three miles north of Clarksburg.

According to a Yolo County press release, county crews are planning to work from Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

“Maintaining safe and reliable infrastructure is a top priority for Yolo County,” said Yolo County Board of Supervisors Oscar Villegas. “We appreciate the public’s patience as our crews work to complete these important guardrail and roadway improvements near Freeport Bridge. Please drive cautiously and plan ahead for potential delays during construction.”

Please be prepared for intermittent lane closures during this time period in all travel directions. Travelers should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes. Local access to properties and businesses in this area will be provided during construction.
