• The Farmington area Memorial Day Parade is 10 a.m. May 26, starting near the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Orchard Lake Road, then west on Grand River to downtown Farmington, ending at Oakland Avenue, for a ceremony at the Farmington War Memorial Monument in Memorial Park, featuring local honor and color guards, and officials from various branches of military service. • The City of Troy to host Salute Our Fallen Veterans Memorial Day Ceremony, at 10 a.m. May 26 at Veterans Memorial Plaza in front of Troy City Hall, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy. The event includes keynote speaker Chief Master Sergeant Bryon D. Harvey, Senior Enlisted Leader for A4 (Logistics) for the Michigan Air National Guard Air Staff, the raising of the colors by the Troy Police Department Honor Guard, and the laying of a Memorial Wreath.
