Monterey Cheri Anne Gayman passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Although she was born inthe San Fernando Valley in 1944, she moved to the Monterey Peninsula in the early 1970’s where she raised her family and donated time to several charities and fund-raising events.<br><br>Cheri is survived by daughters, Lauri Hatfield (Kelly) and Alexis Ostensen (Ron), step-son Ron Gayman (Lisa), step-daughter Pam Thomson, seven grandchildren and two great grandsons. Also surviving are her sister, Kenee Campo, two nieces, her dear companion, Patricia Canfield, and her beloved dogs.<br><br>Per Cheri’s request, no services will be held. Donations can be made in her honor to local dog /pet rescues.<br><br>She had a wonderful 8-decade life, and will be missed.<br>
