Actress Dakota Johnson and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin have officially gone their separate ways after nearly eight years of an on-and-off relationship, People magazine reports.

According to sources, the split feels more permanent this time around, marking what could be the final chapter in their long-running romance.

The couple, who first sparked dating rumors in 2017, had reportedly been engaged for several years, though they never publicly confirmed a wedding date, E! News reported. Insiders say their busy schedules and differing priorities may have contributed to the breakup, the media outlet said.

Throughout their relationship, Johnson and Martin kept things mostly private, occasionally stepping out together but rarely discussing their romance in public, People reported. However, the couple were last seen holding hands in Malibu in mid-May, just weeks before news of their split surfaced.

Howard Stern on ailing Billy Joel: ‘He’s doing fine’

SiriusXM host Howard Stern said he and Billy Joel had dinner recently after Joel canceled his upcoming tour due to a brain condition, and can assure fans the rocker isn’t on his deathbed.

“He’s doing fine,” Stern said on his Tuesday morning program.

Joel announced May 23 that he was taking a break from performing following a recent diagnosis of hydrocephalus, which the National Institutes of Health describes as “an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid deep within the brain.”

Stern said Joel told him a few weeks ago, “You can tell people, you know, I’m not dying.”

Mark Hamill’s ‘Star Wars’ days are over, he says

No more Luke Skywalker for Mark Hamill.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, the 73-year-old actor said he has no plans to appear in any upcoming “Star Wars” films as the famed Jedi knight.

“I am so grateful to (creator George Lucas) for letting me be a part of that back in the day, the humble days when George called ‘Star Wars’ ‘the most expensive low-budget movie ever made,’ ” Hamill said. “We never expected it to become a permanent franchise and a part of pop culture like that. But my deal is, I had my time. I’m appreciative of that, but I really think they should focus on the future and all the new characters.”
