Passed away October 22, 2024 at the age of 89. Red retired after 40 years of being a meat cutter and proud Union Member Local #789.<br><br>In retirement he kept busy helping others and woodworking; becoming the handyman of Florida. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Gene &amp; Bob; sister, Shirley; and grandson, Jacob. Survived by wife of 67 years, Mary Ellen; children, Patricia, Susan (Bill), James Jr. (Gita Mazumdar) &amp; Larry (Lisa); 13 grandchildren; 8greatgrandchildren; and many relatives &amp; friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM, Saturday, Oct. 26th at the Church of St. Matthew, 510 Hall Ave; St. Paul, MN 55107. Visitation 1-hr. prior to Mass. A private family burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Habitat for Humanity.<div></div><br>
