Want to drink beer for a good cause?
You’ll be doing just that if you purchase a four-pack of Headlands Brewing’s new West Coast Whale Pilsner. One dollar of each four-pack will go toward Sausalito’s Marine Mammal Center and its efforts in marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation, research and education.
The 5.5% beer, brewed with locally grown barley and malted by Alameda’s Admiral Maltings, is available for a limited time at its East Bay locations and at various stores throughout Marin and other parts of California. Beer is available for takeout and delivery only through its Lafayette location. Store locations are listed at headlandsbrewing.com/beer-finder.
In 2022, Headlands Brewing became a member of 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses and environmental organizations that work together to support people and the planet, which the Marine Mammal Center is also a member of.
Headlands Brewing, which was founded in 2013 and named after the iconic Southern Marin site, donates at least 1% of its revenue to environmental causes. According to the brewery, they’ve donated $120,000 since they joined three years ago.
