French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, American pianist Garrick Ohlsson and Spanish cellist Pablo Ferrández are among the guest artists who will perform during the newly announced 2025-26 Schubert Club International Artist Series.
Now in its 143rd year, the Schubert Club is Minnesota’s oldest arts organization. The upcoming season includes both the International Artist Series, held at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in downtown St. Paul, and Music in the Park, which features more intimate chamber music concerts at St. Paul’s St. Anthony Park United Church of Christ.
“These two concert series represent many diverse faces and sounds of classical music by artists from the Americas, Europe and Asia,” said Barry Kempton, Schubert Club’s artistic and executive director, in a news release. “Beloved artists like Garrick Ohlsson and the Danish String Quartet return, and we also get to hear debuts by some of the most exciting artists of their generations.”
Subscriptions are priced from $310 to $114 for the International Artist Series and $135 for Music in the Park and go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday via schubert.org or by phone at 651-292-3268. Single ticket sales open in August.
