La Quinta, CA

Brain Atwell, the only son of Sabine Atwell passed away at his home in La Quinta, Ca on 9-27-2024. This was a tremendous and unexpected loss for his family, friends and business associates. Brian was born May 5th, 1969 in San Francisco, CA and was raised in Monterey Ca. He attended San Carlos Elementary school in Monterey and Palma High School in Salinas. After graduating from Palma High School Brian attended and graduated from CSU- Sacramento with a BA in Political Science and minor in economics. After college, Brian married his college sweetheart Janelle. She was the love of his life. They settled in Rancho Murieta to raise two incredible boys who have recently graduated from Loyola Maramount in Los Angeles. Brian and his family were well traveled going together to such places as Europe, Mexico, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Mexico. When his children graduated from high school, Brian and his wife moved to La Quinta where the embarked on a slower pace of life while enjoying the great success of Brian’s advertising business.

Brian was loved by all who knew him. He went out of his way tohelp friends and family, and he did this out of the kindness of heart. He was a sunny, fun loving and kind person. Brian loved his friends, fishing, soccer, lacrosse, traveling and reading. Brian is survived by his two boys Jordan(24) and Dominic Atwell(23), his wife Janelle Atwell and his mother Sabine Atwell. Brian is predeceased by his father Freddie Atwell and his stepfather Dr. Juan Maguna. His memory will carry on through many deep and meaningful relationships he established with those he knew and loved. A memorial service will be held in the Monterey area in January 2025.
