• Author Discussion and Book Signing with Dan Egan 4-6 p.m. March 13 at Oakland University’s Oakland Center, 312 Meadow Brook Road, Rochester. A panel discussion on nutrient pollution and human impact on aquatic life, themes in Egan’s work. the moderated panel will cover Egan’s reporting on the Great Lakes, regional water health, and the global effects of phosphorus pollution. A book signing will follow (books available for purchase).
Bottle and can drive
• Woman’s Life Chapter 855 conducts a continuous bottle and can drive with drop off locations in Richmond and Memphis to help those in the community in need. They also offer a pick up service for larger donations. For more information, call 586-318-4053.

• Sterling Heights Lions Club host euchre tournament March 14 at their clubhouse, 12828 Canal Road, Sterling Heights.
