Carter and Trump, two very different presidents
One former president traveled the world working for free and fair elections. Another former president spreads baseless claims of election fraud and tried to steal an election.
One former president graduated from the Naval Academy and served in the U. S. Navy. Another former president disparaged a prisoner of war, made callous remarks to a Gold Star family, and said the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was a traitor who should be executed.
One former president was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize. Another former president said Russia’s Putin was “pretty smart” for invading Ukraine.
One former president was married to his wife for 77 years. Another former president was found guilty of sexual abuse.
One former president built houses for charity. Another former president had his foundation shut down by the courts.

It’s time for Boulder to give pedestrians protection
Given that Boulder has provided “right-of-way” protection for bicyclists to safely travel fast on roadways via “Bike Lanes.” Given the increasing number of accidents and death on pathways due to bicyclists being unable to control their vehicles.
It’s time for Boulder to give pedestrians protection, via regulating speed limits for all mechanical vehicles (including skateboards and roller-skates) to 6 mph on all sidewalks, trails and pathways (improved or unimproved). Thereby, making those unable to safely control and operate enhanced modes of transportation to be legally liable for accidents. While on a public trail or walkway, if you cannot bring your momentum to a safe stop within three feet of a pedestrian or child, you have lost control and are accountable for the resulting reckless endangerment.
