QuikTrip

I would like to thank the Planning and Zoning (Commission) for trying to listen to the citizens for not wanting a QuikTrip gas station in the middle of Ken Pratt Boulevard, one of the busiest streets in Longmont. Obviously, it doesn’t matter. I guess we don’t need them anymore, as the council does what they want to do and could care less about what the citizens think.

American flag

I was not happy under President Biden and President Obama and the situation under them, but I still flew my American flag. And if Harris won this election, I still would have flown my American flag.

Older

I’m calling about the complaining about older and bitter people. I’m older, and I pray young people will grow up and open their blind eyes and that they will see and know the truth and these lies they’re being fed they will not believe.

Thompson Park

I just want to say thank you and congratulations to the city for doing such a fabulous job on Thompson Park. We live across from the park, and it is so wonderful to hear so many happy voices every day after school and on the weekends.

Egg prices

If the average national price of a dozen large eggs has dropped below $5, how come both King Soopers and Safeway in Longmont are still at $7.50?

Homeless people

I think the police in Longmont do a great job and so do the city workers. And (to) whoever is letting all these so-called homeless people run around, ... there’s a big pile of homeless garbage behind one of the signs at the mall ... Maybe someone could go by there and clean up ... and make Longmont look like it used to be — beautiful. It used to be a small town, and now it’s just stinking apartments everywhere and hotels.
