Noteworthy: The quarterback helped carry his team to a 35-6 victory over Hawthorne in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 11 playoffs. Beck completed 12 of 19 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns. Sophomore Chase Mena had five receptions for 126 yards and two touchdowns. The Titans will be on the road Friday against Pasadena in the quarterfinals.

Serenity Fausto

Year: Senior

Noteworthy: The senior won the Del Rio League cross country finals in a time of 17 minutes, 19.9 seconds on the 3-mile course at California High. She will be competing Saturday in the CIF-SS prelims at Mt. San Antonio College. Fausto has won seven meet titles this season and has two second-place finishes. She ran a personal-best 17:01.9 at the Rosemead Invitational.
