Passed away January 13, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Dorothy Ahern Altman of St. Paul. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marietta; four daughters: Mary Lynn, Dawn, Beth (Jay) and Laurie (Gregg); and sister, Kathleen Paulino.<br><br>He loved his 10 grandchildren: Steven (Elizabeth), Erika (Rick), Belinda, Andrew, Cassie (Tom), Tucker, Gabe (Amanda), Joseph, Jack (Franki) and Mitch. Dick graduated from Johnson High School and the College of St. Thomas and served in the Army and National Guard. Dick formed a lifetime of friendships at Lilydale Tennis Club and Southview and Cannon Falls Golf clubs. His affinity for building relationships and understanding finance led to a successful career at Industry Financial. The family is grateful for the care Dick received from St. Croix Hospice, Southview Senior Living and the Willows of Ramsey Hill. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joesph’s Catholic Church, 11:00 a.m. (visitation at 9:30 a.m.) January 17, 1154 Seminole Ave., West St. Paul, MN 55108.
