Justin Baldoni’s defamation claim against co-star Blake Lively and his libel lawsuit against The New York Times have officially been thrown out.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, the “It Ends With Us” director and star missed the deadline to appeal Judge Lewis Liman’s earlier dismissal of the multimillion-dollar suits.
The New York judge in June tossed Baldoni’s $400 million suit against Lively, husband Ryan Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane, as well as his $250 million filing against The Times for its December exposé titled, “‘We Can Bury Anyone:’ Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.”
Last month, in the wake of the dismissals, Lively filed a motion seeking millions of dollars in attorneys’ fees and damages to “remedy the substantial harm” that resulted from Baldoni’s “baseless” suit.
Baldoni continues to deny all of the allegations in Lively’s claim, which is still active and scheduled to go to trial in March.
Daniel Radcliffe to return to Broadway in spring 2026
Newly minted Tony winner Daniel Radcliffe will return to Broadway this spring with the one-man show “Every Brilliant Thing.”
The show features audience participation, which Radcliffe, 36, said means it’s “built with the audience new every night.” It will enjoy a limited Broadway engagement from Mach 12 until May 24 at the Hudson Theater, per The New York Times. Previews begin Feb. 21.
“There’s something about the nature of this play and the connection that is being constantly made with the audience, from before the play even starts when I’m out there interacting with people as they come into the room, that I’m very intrigued by and excited by,” the “Harry Potter” star told The Times, adding that theatergoers will not be required to take part.
Kardashian claims that moon landing ‘was fake’
NASA responded directly to Kim Kardashian trying to promote conspiracy theories about the 1969 moon landing.
Acting Administrator Sean Duffy addressed the reality star, 45, on X, formerly Twitter, Thursday amid viral comments made on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.”
“Yes, @KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times! And even better: @NASAArtemis is going back under the leadership of @POTUS,” tweeted Duffy. “We won the last space race and we will win this one too!”
The Skims founder spent a portion of the reality series’ latest episode trying to convince “All’s Fair” costar Sarah Paulson that Apollo 11 crew members Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins didn’t land on the moon in July 1969.
