Peter was born in Manhasset, NY. He graduated from Manasquan High School in Manasquan, NJ and the University of Maryland. While at the University of Maryland, he spent a semester studying in London, England. Peter had a lifelong career in Advertising beginning in NYC and continuing in San Francisco when he moved to California. Having lived more than half his life in California, he thought of himself more of a Californian than an east coast person. Peter loved to travel and spent many vacations visiting many European countries. Hawaii was also a favorite place for him. Peter is survived by his mother Nancy of Santa Rosa, aunt Mary Lindgren of Lake Worth Beach, Fl, sister-in-law Colleen Marvits, nephews Jack and James Marvits of Hillsborough, NJ. He is predeceased by his father Tonu "Tony" Marvits and brother Thomas Marvits.
