



Orange County boys basketball has five teams in the CIF Southern Section championship games this week.
Two of the teams will be playing each other for the third time this season.
Pacifica Christian (23-7) and Fairmont Prep (21-9) meet again in the Division 2AA final on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Toyota Arena in Ontario. They played each other twice this season in the San Joaquin League and split the games.
Pacifica Christian is led by EJ Spillman, a muscular 6-foot-4 senior guard who is averaging team highs of 14 points and five assists a game. Fairmont Prep 6-10 junior forward David Abisogun had 16 points with six rebounds and three blocked shots when the Huskies beat Riverside Poly 53-45 in the 2AA semifinals.
Los Alamitos (24-8) plays Mira Costa (29-3) in the Division 1 championship game Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Toyota Center. Five Griffins scored in double figures when they crushed Crean Lutheran 82-57 in the Division 1 semifinals.
Sage Hill (18-9), a private school in Irvine, plays Knight (25-5) of Palmdale in the 3AA final Saturday at 8 p.m. at Edison High. James Karhalios scored 16 points when the Lightning beat Tustin in the quarterfinals.
Santiago (21-11) plays Ramona (26-6) in the 4AA final on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Toyota Arena. Santiago has been led in the playoffs by senior guard Jorden De La Mora, who scored 25 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, in a 50-43 win over Pacifica in the semifinals.
