Passed away in Edina on September 7, 2024. She was born on March 24, 1932 in St. Paul to Eric and Edna (Anderson) Franzen of Clayton. Joyce graduated from Amery High School.

She met Carter Dedolph at 3M, and they married in 1959. The couple lived in Somerset and had 4children, moving to Columbus, WI in 1976. Joyce was the world’s best homemaker and mother, an amazing cook and baker, and an avid gardener.

She loved to sew and tat. After retiring, Carter and Joyce traveled the world to research their genealogies.

They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in 2010. Joyce is survived by children Carter Dedolph, Jr. (Cayte Anderson), Carolyn Cabrera, Carrie Franzen and Forrest Dedolph, and grandchildren Keelan, Ian and Callan Dedolph, Kian Hein, and Indigo Cabrera. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and infant brother Eric. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at Timber Hills Presbyterian Homes chapel, 6309 Burnham Circle, Inver Grove Heights, Thursday, September 19, 2 pm. Memorial donations to N.C. Little Hospice, Edina.
