If you’ve been waiting to “Get Back” to live music with a legend, Paul McCartney is answering the call — starting right here in Southern California.

The Beatles icon will kick off his 2025 “Got Back” Tour on Sept. 29 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert. It marks McCartney’s first performance in the Coachella Valley since his memorable Desert Trip appearance in 2016, and it’s the only California stop on the 16-date trek through the U.S. and Canada.

The tour wraps with back-to-back shows at Chicago’s United Center on Nov. 24 and 25. But before that, Southern California fans will get the first taste of what’s expected to be a career-spanning setlist—featuring Beatles staples like “Hey Jude” and “Let It Be,” as well as hits from Wings and McCartney’s solo catalog.

Tickets for the Acrisure Arena show go on artist presale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 at Ticketmaster.com. With general public sales beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, July 18 at acrisurearena.com.

McCartney’s return to the road follows a trio of intimate warm-up shows at New York’s Bowery Ballroom earlier this year and a guest performance on SNL50: The Anniversary Special. He’s also been busy offstage—2024 saw the release of a 50th-anniversary reissue of Band on the Run and the long-sought live album One Hand Clapping. A new book, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, chronicling his post-Beatles adventures, is due out Nov. 4.

From Beatlemania to arena rock, McCartney’s musical journey continues and for fans in the desert, it starts right at home. With more than six decades of hits behind him, his Palm Desert performance promises to be a nostalgic and historic night for longtime listeners and first-time concertgoers alike.
